Serena Makowecki

Hi, I’m Serena, a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP) and a member of the Psychologists’ Association of Alberta (PAA).
Taking the first step toward prioritizing your mental health is a brave and meaningful choice. I strive to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences with openness and care.
My goal is to help individuals, couples, and families identify unhelpful patterns and move toward healing and growth. I work collaboratively with clients by listening deeply, offering thoughtful guidance, and supporting meaningful change through a compassionate, client-centered approach.
I have extensive training in family systems therapy, trauma-informed therapy, and solution-focused brief and narrative therapies. Together, we will tailor a treatment plan that aligns with your goals, values, and unique needs.
